While he’s trying to strategize, Yuuji has other plans. Megumi finds the cursed monster just about to absorb the club members and the cursed finger. Yuuji realizes that he needs to follow his Grandpa’s wishes, if only to help his fellow clubmates. Megumi uses Shikigami Summoning to handle exorcising curses. While Yuuji comes to terms with that information, Megumi reaches the school. Yuuji’s friends are as good as dead at this point. Megumi tells Yuuji the hard facts: his goal is to retrieve the finger and exorcise the monster. Megumi and Yuuji arrive at the school to find that the curse-monsters have infiltrated it. While they’re trying to figure out if the finger is a real human finger or not, their single candle blows out bringing a spooky atmosphere. As the wrappings fall away they find a mummified finger.
